I have to ask , maybe someone else already did ....why all the time , effort and money for 2 oz ? when you could easily grow a pound with your set ..then they seeded on you ..
signing off for good folks , I just grew 22 oz of the greatest bud I've ever smoked in a small tent in my spare bedroom . I have nothing left to learn , I have perfected my craft and I'm stoned immaculate..it's been a slice and wish everyone luck on their quest to get where I am
all the best
good question , I'm thinking the alcohol will boil at 175 degrees , that's not hot enough to decarb ..my guess anyway ..I always decarb in the oven to make tinctures , I don't decarb making oil mainly because I burn it in use
boiling point of everclear is about 175 degrees , I put the tincture in a measuring cup or something similar and place it it water warmed to 150 or so ...you should be able to evaporate several ounces in an hour
I grind the 3 oz in in a coffee grinder for about 15 seconds to not obliterate it then soak the weed overnight in 2 cups of everclear ...strain it twice through a filter ..good to go . if I'm evaporating making weed oil I don't decarb if I'm making tinctures I decarb
exactly what I do ...no need to use that much everclear ..I decarb and use 2 cups of alcohol to 3 oz of weed ..no need to evaporate unless I'm going to mix it in edibles
I didn't decarb before soaking in everclear ..I put 15 ounces of purple kush through a blender , grind it lightly for about 10 - 15 seconds to not obliterate it . I used two 26ers of evervlear for an overnight soak in a gallon size mason jar ..strained the mix twice through coffee filters which...
just finished my 2023 harvest ...unfortunately I still have about a pound of pretty decent weed left over from my 2022 grow . my plan is to turn the surplus into oil using everclear ..my question ..if I plan to only use the oil to smoke in joints I assume I dont have to decarb ??
first ..you should mix the #4, with a good soil like a happy frog or even any other good potting soil and you won't need nutes for many weeks ..for 2 months old they look like they have had a rough go
hanging a damp small towel from a top pole will add 20% humidity to my 4 x 4 tent , I change it every second day , for me it was a pain looking after a humidifier .
The plants are in trellis nets , the lights take 10 seconds to move side to side they are hung from sliding poles , the question is ...does it benefit me to move the lights once a day to help even the light coverage
They are spaced the best i can do , yet as you know the best PAR value is directly under the light and it shows in how the plants grow with the strongest directly under . The question is am i better off this way with say 30 or 40 bigger buds in the center and the rest more medium fluffier buds...
