do your homework pal. Try a plastic bins full of soil, and a 300watt cfl from ebay, that would be a good cheap start. just take it from there. ALSO try to get some good seeds too, a strain thats a big producer.

So im ready to grow again Planing to go soil on this one. Im plan on growing a landrace strain that is said to need minimal care and nutes. Im looking for a soil that i can use from beginning to end. Is FF ocean brand really my only true option? or Can i do better with a homemade pro-mix...

i understand your concern so close to harvest. try lighting some citronella candles (blow it out and lite it repeatedly near the plant, then leave it lit) then mist the plant and soil in a weak alcohol and soap solution. GL
