    My First Outdoor/In Ground Grow

In cloth pots/high drainage soil outdoors you'll need to water more often due to higher evaporation rates.

    My First Outdoor/In Ground Grow

While gathering what I need for this next grow I took some inspiration from you, @Terrapin Station , and decided I was going to run autos in store bought organic soil much like you did. I chose something a little more in line with weed soil mixes. Kelloggs Patio Plus Premium. It has aged...

No worries! I'm far from knowing it all so you may be right on point in terms of timing. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks!

I would suggest you hold off on the dehumidifier until you know what you're going to be doing indoors. Same with the humidifier. A 50+ pint dehu should do the job for most bedroom or smaller sized lung rooms. I like to use the ones that have direct drain hoses so that I don't have to keep...

Exposing plants to an unusual chemical early on may bolster their growth

I heard about this from some old school growers I know. They would but bananas in their grow space to help the flowers finish off faster. I thought they were nuts but I guess they were right. What's promising to me is that if this indeed helps seeds become more vigorous weed plants will be...

Exposing plants to an unusual chemical early on may bolster their growth

I read in another article talking about the same discovery that what they did was take a few banana peels and put them in a bag and stuck the seeds in there with the peels to expose the seeds to the Ethelyne gas the peels give off. They had it in the bag for a couple of weeks replacing the...

Exposing plants to an unusual chemical early on may bolster their growth

Just like any other organism, plants can get stressed. Usually it’s conditions like heat and drought that lead to this stress, and when they’re stressed, plants might not grow as large or produce as much. This can be a problem for farmers, so many scientists have tried genetically modifying...

Unless your water source is questionable, like a well that is untested, tap should be fine in most cases. If it's muni water you can get a report from them telling you what's in the water. At a lot of the facilities I worked at they used a 2 - 1 RO system.

I tend to travel fairly often so I have to automate my grows which means my having to mix a reservoir that will last until I return. I've run reservoirs for 6 weeks without intervention. The last time I ran it 6 weeks I had the dehu dumping condensate back into the nitrate/sulphate reservoir to...

250 DLI would be more than 5 times the amount needed at peak flower. Did you mean 25 DLI?
