Decarb or not to Decarb

I just did a quick google search (because I didn't know the answer). Decarbing turns THCa into THC, and CBDa into CBD - removing the acid from each. There is some medical information that says the "raw" forms with the acid still intact/attached has benefits, but evidence is inconclusive. If you want the CBD to be active (I'm guessing that is what you are after) then you need to decarb. Here's the link where I found this information. Hope that helps a little!

It may or may not work without decarbing. I don't take a chance and always decarb. This also helps get moisture out of the weed. You need to get the right temperature for the exact time. You also need to have an accurate thermometer to make sure your oven isn't off. They almost always are.
