Check out Setting Sun's journal. They went through a big discussion about meters. Sorry I forgot which one is best, but I know it's digital. That's one hell of a journal and come to think of it he's had two. Just ask in his journal, he wont mind at all. In fact questions tickle him pink. I wanted to use mine for the same thing. It only worked after much fiddling with it. Threw it away.
Damn thing.
