2020 Outdoor: Auto Blue & Mixed ScrOG

I do really appreciate all your input, folks. :Namaste: I just wonder why its two plants out of six that are doing this.
Some plants can be more sensitive than others even within the same strain.

Nice grow by the way. I got so caught up in the problem that I forgot to say that I like your style. I just tried making my own soil but didn't add any buffers or anything. It was just compost and coco. The auto which I put in it seems to be stunted but looks pretty healthy otherwise. The cat has eaten a good part of each of the main fan leaves and nature seems to try to kill it every day but it is still nice and green lol. I'm using homemade weed tea to feed it which is going better than I thought it would. I wasn't prepared for just how much everything want's your plants to be dead outdoor lol. The cat, slugs, aphids, toddlers, winds, rain, frost, the woman next door. Everything wants to kill my plant. I've officially been an outdoor grower for about 2 months and the only advice I can offer is be vigilant lol.

Thank you! Haha our cat got at mine before I could even get them outside. I’ll pop into your thread and see how she is holding up. Good thing I love my kitties!

I think it must be wind damage as the amnesia haze and super skunk seem fine besides the canoed leaves. The leaves haven’t returned to normal so I am assuming they’re permanently rolled up.

The autos stretched like crazy this week. Blue #1 is the largest and had a decent success with LST. Blue 2 is the second tallest, but the auxiliary shoots aren’t that impressive. Blue #3 seems to have the best LST with a relatively even canopy, but I think she is stunted. Regardless, they are all coming along and I’m thinking I’ll give them some flowering food in the next day or two if they haven’t put on much more vertical growth.

The photo ladies are starting to come on. They all stretched a fair bit and are starting to push their side shoots and their new double tops. I read to keep the netting for outdoor scrog grows at 18”, so I will have to start training them soon.

Good job on the last crop. They all looked nice and heathy.

Leaf damage rarely recovers but new leaves will take their place if the damage was caused early on. The photo plants will just keep growing until the light hours decreases. Autos can have a mind of their own though lol. Maybe they'll bush up again or maybe they'll just start flowering. The auto I mentioned last time has woken up and is growing much faster now but it will be small as it is focusing on flower production.

I dont know what it is with cats and cannabis but some go mad for it. Mine will devour a veg plant but won't go near anything that has trichs on it.

Alrighty, here is the weekly update.

The three auto blueberries started getting Bloom food last week and they’ve had two doses. I’m wondering if I should fuss with them and defoliate or just let them do their thing.

I gotta get better at pictures!

The autos are starting to fill in a bit and the lower leaves are starting to fade and yellow just a little. We had a couple heavy rain storms and I’ve been covering the autoflowers. They’re the princesses of my grow.

the 3 little ladies have the best spot in the yard. I’m pretty sure then get 10+ hours a day. I have only needed to water once a week but I may start giving them another small sip and see how they like it.

A little late with an update, but here it is

autos are chugging along but they seem to have thin and airy buds...especially blueberry 3

The photoperiod ladies are filling out. OG Kush’s main stem split in two! I taped it up as best I could and we will have to see how she handles

I’ve been topping them every little while to keep them branching. First I topped the whole plant, then I topped all the side shoots. Another week or two later I topped the two new mains. Most recently I’ve been topping the side shoots off the two mains.

Life picked up a bit with the end of the school year and my wife headed back to work, but the show still goes on. I got a loupe, Boveda 58% packs, some fiskar trimmers, and a 4 pack of cheap hygrometers in preparation for the auto harvest. A few more weeks!

We’ve had a bit of rain in the last week, so I moved the auto blueberries into our cheap Amazon greenhouse. They’re dry, but aren’t getting as much light. I think blueberry 2 is furthest along although I caught some new white hairs (pistils?) pushing out and there aren’t that many Amber trichs from what I can see. Enjoy some more phone pics :)

The photo period gals are chugging along. The OG Kush gets the most sun of these three (7-8 hours of full sun?). The amnesia haze and super skunk are pretty shady (6-7 full sun hours?). You can see the OG Kush is much fuller than the other two. I don’t mind though! They look good :)

Hard for me to keep up! Haha I harvested all the auto flowers because spots of bud rot kept showing up. The harvest was veeeerry light...disappointing. I think it was too cold and too early for me to seed them. I also transplanted them which I hear is a no no.

I planted the last twoauto blueberry seeds on the 15th and they both popped. We will see how they do!

photo periods filled out their trellis as much as I felt inclined to let them and now I am letting them shoot up.They’ll prob turn into circular bushes by the fall haha
