Cute.
You should peel the cover off the peat pods though. :Namaste:
Hope you are well my friend.

Hiya Bill
I'm good thanks buddie..it was my youngest son's birthday yesterday, so had a great family day.

I really should try this one day...I've been using these jiffy pellets for 20 years and never tried it once.

Have a good day bill.
I hope the weather is treating you and your girls good up there.

Cool Smeghead
One of the very few things where I do not entirely agree with Bill - there is no need to cut off the starter pellet mesh, same as fiber starter pots; root will go through that no problem, this stuff can grow in concrete
Sorry Bill  :ciao:
Evening Roy..
Yeah, I've never really had an issue with them tbh.
I used to grow clones sog on nft tables, always used jiffy pellets since the dawn of time. You could see the roots had no issue ripping the cloth as easy as a tea bag.
I only ever heard it being an issue here on 420 over the past couple of years.
Can't hurt to take it off also...but I'm a lazy grower.
Cheers for taking a look Roy.

Yep, did clone NFT for years in my previous setup, settled on drip system/coco now and plant the seeds directly once they show a tap root... perhaps I'm even lazier lol
Cheers for the toke Brother

Day 1

Nice. Are you thinking of starting a grow journal? If so, you could probably use the Report Post "button" at the bottom left of one of your posts (in this thread), and have this thread moved to:

...so you don't have to bother with duplicating what you've already posted, and so that everyone who is currently subscribed to it will still be subscribed when it officially becomes a grow journal thread.

Just a thought.

Hiya TS
thanks for the tip.
Are you thinking of starting a grow journal?
I didn't intend to start an actuall journal. I can't really commit to the full process as I've got 3 children living at home, plus like yourself I've an elderly parent close by...something always happens mid grow to take my attention.
I just use this auto section to document as much as I can to keep track. If others want to take a look...then all the better. Plus it gives this auto section a bit of love.
Cheers TS

Day 7
All good.
The strawberry banana auto continued to stretch slightly...so on day4 I increased the light to 14k lux, ~24O ppfd. Again the other 2 autos were happy with that level but the strawberry is still asking for a little more.
Today I'm increasing the light to 16k lux, ~270 ppfd...if the strawberry banana continues to be a light hog I will raise the pot higher than the others.

Strawberry banana auto. Day 7
A bit of stretch between node spacing. Working on second node leaves, just see the third peeping through.

I think you should start feeding my friend.
Give that tap root something to chase.
Color is getting too light as well.
But they are growing and forming well.
Looks like your going to have a great crop. :thumb:
Hope your having a great day my friend.
Take care.

Morning bill.
Yeah they do look a little light coloured in the photos...I've got a crap phone, even though the grow light was on the flash still operated...so it's washed some of the colour out. The phone doesn't even have a zoom!
But it's deffo my plan to feed them in the next couple of days..
Cheers for popping in Bill.
Have a good day buddie.
