Best strain to grow outdoor in central canada? auto or photo

Good morning everyone,
I have plenty of experience with indoor but have never grown an outdoor plant. What is best for central canada outdoor? We don't have that Vancouver weather here in ottawa haha.

Priorities:
Best finished smoke possible
Mold temp and pest resistance
Must finish early like mid September since frost possible mid September

What is best outdoor to grow here? Auto? Photo?

Hey og I think the ruderalis in the auto's make them hardier plants so thats something to consider, plus you can have them finished before the summer ends...shame about the yield though unless you can grow a few to compensate. For photo's I believe strains like skunk & northern lights do well in colder climates. Good luck
