Chappie's First Grow Journal - WW Auto - Soil - Indoor - LED

Day 40:

Soil was still moist today. I fed them yesterday, a mix of 3 tsp big bloom, 2 tsp tiger bloom, and 5 ml of cal mag per gallon of water x3 gallons split between the 5.
PH was 6.8
Ppm was 1700-1800

Plants are about 2 and a half feet under the light on full spectrum and seem to be loving it.

Pulled out all the lst yesterday and re did all of it to expose more bud sites.

Day 43:

All seems to still be well surprisingly. They got watered yesterday with 3 tsp big bloom, and half tsp of recharge per gallon of water x4 gallons split between the 5. Ph-6.7 and ppm-640.

So I'm pretty convinced the plant that was behind from the start is not in flower. What I thought was pistils turns out to be small sets of new leaves coming in still. I'm not sure if it's that far behind? Maybe it's not an autoflower? I'll give it a few days and see what happens with it.

One of the plants, is starting to show some rust looking spots in the middle of the leaves. Not sure what it is yet. I'll try to get some close up pics of the leaves a little later.

They were getting really bushy and there was almost no light penetration past the top of the canopy so I decided to defoliate today. Took off quite a bit of leaves I think, hopefully they won't die..

I'll be gone for the weekend so I'm going to feed them a day early.

The one that is behind and is not flowering is in the bottom right of the Pic and the one with the leaf rust spots is in the bottom left of the Pic.
Before and after defoliating.

Wow, your girls are coming along nicely. I loved going back and seeing the original LST you put on them....
I enjoy seeing how the dirty girls respond to the light torture and stretching.....
Thanks spec. I re did the lst again tonight as well and they already started reaching back towards the light within a hour. I even bent branches in the middle and tied them to themselves in order to create another top at the next node. Never done it before, hopefully I get some positive results from it.

Day 46:

They got fed today with 3tsp of big bloom, 2 tsp tiger bloom, 2tsp grow big, and 5ml cal-mag per gallon of water x4 gallons split between the 5. Ph naturally 6.4-6.5. Ppm 1700-2000.

The slow one still hasn't shown signs of flowering. I think I'm gonna leave it in there though and see what happens. I also defoliated that one a little bit more today.

Pistils are starting to shoot straight out of the little budlets forming! Hopefully I can make it another 6 weeks or so...

Day 52:

Been away for a minute but here's what's been going on.

So far I've been sticking with a high ppm feed, low ppm feed, water only routine. Seems to be working out pretty well.

The rust spots on the leaves have not progressed any more, I think it was the plant being low on nutes and sucking it from the leaves.

The slow one from the beginning still has not started to flower. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have the ruderalis genetic. I'm just going to veg it out and put it with my other photo period plant when it's ready and see if I can get it to flower then.

They got fed this morning with 3 tsp big bloom and 5ml cal-mag per gallon of water x3 gallons split between them. Ph 6.6-6.8, ppm 700-800. I also defoliated all 5 to help expose more bud sites and lst'd a little bit on a couple of them.

Temps have been between 70 lights out and 80 lights on with R.H between 50-60%. Rh is too high for my liking so I bought a mini dehumidifier to help with that. Also I put another small oscillating fan to help with air movement.

Light is currently 2 and a half feet above the top of the canopy.

I just recently added the dehumidifier... I should of put 2 and 2 together because it's not filtering the air as fast as the exhaust is pulling it in. Oh well, will prolly just end up buying a bigger dehumidifier and putting it in the room. Unless anyone with more experience know how to lower the rh with a relatively cheaper route?

Day 57:

Today a few of the girls were light and some were a little moist but I watered all 5, some a little more and some less. 3tsp big bloom, 3tsp tiger bloom, 5ml cal-mag, 1 oz liquid seaweed, and 1/2 tsp recharge. Ph was naturally 6.5-6.6 and ppm was 1550-1650.

They are looking okay so far. I have decided to switch my light to the bloom spectrum and switch to 12-12 lighting. I did this because I have 2 autos that did not flower and one photo period in my tent. I wanted to see if I could get the autos to flower. That was 3 days ago. Also I wasn't to crazy about getting a high electric bill, so we'll see how this goes.

3 days later and the 2 autos that did not flower started to show pistils!! The ww that is a photo has veged for about 2 months before I flipped, hopefully it doesn't get to big. I defoliated quite a bit on it and supercropped a few branches to keep her low.

Still a constant battle with humidity but I found out if I crack the window a little I can get the rh to drop down to the upper 40's.

Overall, the flowers are coming in nicely and trichomes are staring to show. They also have a nice smell to them, not very strong though.

Will try to get some individual pics later. It's hard to get in there and move around.

Day 66 and 67:

Been away for a minute but the girls are pretty much on cruise control. Pics are kinda boring. 4 out of 5 are doing real good and the slow 5th one is now starting to create little budlets finally.

The light has been on bloom mode on 12-12 and is still about 2 and a half feet above the canopy.

We are getting down to the final stretch here. About 3 to 3and a half weeks left till chop! The next week I plan on watering with nutes still and the final 2 weeks until harvest I plan to use plain Ph water instead of doing 1 big flush. Any thoughts on that? Or is it better to flush all at once?

Been sticking with the feed, light feed, water only schedule.

For some reason it will not let me post pics. I'll try to work on that a little later.
