First Grow

If the tri-leaf is a female, I'm going to keep it in veg to clone from, and flower the rest of the females. Clone from it for a few harvests with another feminized strain along with it.

If not, I'm going to flower all the females and then switch to a feminized purple urkle, and a few northern lights. Two of my favorite smoke of all time.

I am looking to grow a Northern Lights outside this summer, just not sure which breeder to go with. NL was very popular around here years ago, haven't been able to try it out for myself yet, but I know I will love it

my older bro did a NL grow outdoors about 15 years ago. I couldn't touch the tops of the plants or wrap my hands around the colas lol. it was amazing, and done in a northern canadian climate.

branches are almost all onto 3rd nodes.

Got the air supply for the hydro grow setup and couldnt help but test it. It was exciting enough to make up for the extensive cleaning that followed lol. 2" stones in 4 gallon buckets, 10 sites total. 295 gph pump.

The pump came with a 6 site valve bar, but I needed 10. It was actually cheaper to get the 12-site upgrade than to get a splitter and an additional 6 site valve bar. That way I can also run 2 lines to my clone box 16" airstone.

I have one oddball that has been shooting tri-growth on each node. But NOW, One of my plants has decided after 5 weeks to convert from the usual bi-growth to the genetic mutation tri-growth. so strange

attempted mainlining. one set of branches, topped at the 4th node to give 16 total main stalks. trimmed the pan leaves to allow more light to the new growth.

Sometimes mutants pop up. As in nature with anything. Who knows it may turn out to be a great one. If it were mine I'd keep it around to see what it turns out like

If it is a female, and the yield is substantially higher than the rest, I plan to re-veg after harvest and keep it as a mother to see if the clones inherit this trait.

Plants are 5 weeks today. Started adding veg nutrients, and did the final topping and trims of pan leves. Roots are maxing out the 2.5qt buckets they are in.

Defoliated today, letting those branch nodes grow level with the colas so they can grow out before next transplant to 4gallon buckets. Still plenty of leaves to absorb light. I just didn't want the pan leaves to block light from the new growth.
