Gorilla Glue LED Grow

Pearcey's Plants

Active Member
Hey guys going to be starting a gorilla glue plant to add to my perp grow. I usually grow smaller sized plants, no taller than 2ft and am looking to let his one grow out bigger. I have lots of sucess with LST with smaller plants, open to any techniques to try out!

Week 1
Variety:
50/50
Plant Stage: Week 1 - Germination
Location: Indoors
Pot Mixture: Peat moss, hummus, vermicelli, perlite and pebbles
Light: 1000W King LED Full Spectrum
Temperature: 25°C Lights on, 20°C Lights off
Humidity: 70%
pH: 6
Light cycle: 24/0

Picked out the biggest seed I had, she sprouted through the soil overnight. I will keep it in this pot until time to transplant; I will move it into a 3 gal pot.

Supercropping is a breeze. The first few a bit nerve-wracking and mistakes will be made but it's amazing what you can do to these plants and have them thrive from the abuse. We'll be here when you're ready!

Yeah sounds awesome! Just had a peak in your thread, I might have germinated a couple more to catch up to you :thumb: I noticed we also have a similar light setup, I am using a King LED 1000W full spectrum, it is 300 actual watts.

Check out a technique called quadlining.
I think it's a term one of the forum members came up with but there is a very impressive thread about it on this site.
It's pretty much a combination of topping and low stress training where you force the plant to focus its energy into four branches, train the branches out as far as you want to horizontally and then flip into bloom.
The four branches will grow lots of new tops with most plants having like 20 colas!
Also, the stems are often much sturdier and need very little support later in bloom which would come in handy with a strain like GG.

I've seen that as well. Saw someone even do it with an auto, but I'm not that bold. Does make for an amazing yield from what I've seen.

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah, the King LED light is doing great so far. I can't believe how reasonable the price was. I am having trouble keeping the heat down in the tent with both lights going. If I don't run my window A/C unit the tent starts to get over 80F which is a bit high for the humidity levels I have. I'm looking forward to how yours grow!

Here's my first quad hanging to dry!

Depending on the setup, strain, seed vs clone and how long you typically veg expect at least a few extra weeks.
This particular plant was very bushy with tons of long side branches. I was going to too her but found if i bent her top over the side branches caught up pretty fast.
On a different strain i had to top and train pretty hard to get it to bush out.
If you're running a really bushy strain in hydro you could really go nuts with it LOL.
If you're running a lanky sativa it will take more effort to keep low, even canopy.
I have some critical x super silver haze and some Godzilla glue seeds that I'm really curious about trying this on but at the same time really nervous about them taking over my small grow.
There's no "I'll squeeze this little one in the corner" stuff when quadlining monster strains!

Help identifying the leaf discolouration? pH was around 8 before watering, now sitting at 6.2 after watering and checking when waking up. Thoughts?

Day 5 along with the others a day behind. Accidentally dropped a solo cup...transplanted it into a pot.

First plant looks a little bad after some light burn but is recovering nicely. Little bit of growth in the past few days, always grow so fast when they are little!
