A sign of healthy living soil, mycorrhiza on an orange peel.(thank goodness for spell check, lol)

I guess I should say that I have "living soil". Literally. One plant even has a colony of ants, and all have earthworms in the soil....6 / plant starting out.

Okay, I measured the plants today. Height is from the soil inside the pot, width and length at mid-height of the crown.

Red Diesel
H - 53"(1.346 M)
W - 58"(1.473M)
L - 64"(1.625M)

Peyote Critical
H - 42"(1.067M)
W - 52"(1.320M)
L - 53"(1.346M)

Triple Cheese

I think it's gonna be a long hot, and thirsty summer. Even though it rained some yesterday afternoon, I still had to water the ladies today. 5 gallons each.

I also added a coffee can of rotting fruit peels, split equally between the 4 plants ( mostly banana peels) for the extra potassium. Still need to burn some wood for the ash to add to the soil to boost the phosphorus content. That should insure that the flowers have all that they need for the rest of the season..

Hey Mel! Your garden is looking fantastic man :bravo: Those girls are large and in charge!
You're doing a really good job on the training and keeping those girls spread out. They'e all got a really good look to them and i'm sure we are in for one hell of a flower show :morenutes::nomo::smokin:

Wow! Thanks man! Over the last couple of years, I have tried to learn as much as possible about the wonderful plant Cannabis.

Wow!Thanks man! One thing that I have learned over the last couple of years, is the importance of quality genetics. I'm growing less plants this year and I believe that I will get a better yield than in previous years.

I thought that my GSC last year was a monster. @Barney'sfarm strain Red Diesel is as big as the GSC was in full flower right now...bigger (taller) than they say it gets on their site(100cm). She is about 130cm now 4'4".

I'm hoping to get at least 1pound/plant. That is my goal anyway. My little Lemon OG Candy had better hurry up and catch up lol. Just growing for personal use really, but I wanted some variety,so...lol

Maybe Barneys will re-evaluate the potential of the Red Diesel after this lmbo!

My Peyote Critical is the thirstiest of the whole lot. Seriously, I have to check her at least twice a day, because she has so many side branches shooting off the top. I MIGHT GET a kilo from her if I am lucky. From the sample I had earlier from her, it is going to be quality smoke. She has gone from veg-flower-veg to actually going into the real flowering stage, allowing me a sneak peek of things to come. I wish Croptober would hurry up and get here!!!

The last of the Barneys bunch, is my Triple Cheese. I have kept her more spread out and she doesn't seem to be as vigorously growing as the other two. Maybe that pot is too small for the really vigorous growth of the others is what I think the problem is. Croptober will let me know for sure, when I do my soil reclamations.

Last, but not least, the little lady, my Lemon OG Candy. The one that has the most sativa lineage. She is doing her very best to catch up. I really wish that I could have started her, when I started the other ones, but I hadn't won her yet lol. She is growing quite vigorously but I don't think that she will reach her full potential yield of 2 kilograms. If she does, no one will be more surprised than me!

I want to thank the @vault. Without them none of this would be possible.

Gary and Greg and all of the Vault crew have been absolutely wonderful to deal with. If not for their contests, I would not have a garden this year... That is a fact.

I also want to thank the Breeders who send the Vault all of those great seeds with the great genetics.

Fresh pictures tomorrow, I promise!

Fresh pictures! The first one is my Red Diesel...
The tape measure pic is of the tallest stem. It is only 2 or3 inches taller than the shortest stem. All measurements are from the top of the soil to the tip of the tallest stem.

I had to water them again today! Sheesh, I'm going to be carrying a LOT OF WATER!! I gave them about a gallon and a half, just to carry them a little longer until we get the remnants of a tropical storm (Barry, I think they called it). Probably will be another couple of days. Knowing that that is coming, I won't be giving them a lot of water. I don't think I could stand myself if I drowned them after they have come this far and done so well.

I have never had to water so much before, so these will have to be monsters, drinking so much water. What have I gotten myself into!?!? Lol

:bravo::morenutes:They often surprise me with how much water they take up.

And it's a good sign! Big buds incoming!

I guess I should get my scissors ✂ sharpened and oiled in preparation then. I am starting to wonder if I will have enough space to hang them to dry...just hoping that I don't have to take some clothes out of the closet.... Oh well, a grower's got to do what a grower's got to do,lol. Is it Croptober yet? I'm thinking about that old song anticipation . Lmbo

Weekly Wednesday update.

A hot, humid week...temps in the 90's and 70's was our coolest nights. Tropical depression Barry is dragging through today, then I will have about 3 days of nothing but sunshine before my next chance of rain .(Growing outdoor really helps to empathize with the farmers. You both are depending on the weather)

I have to warn you before I post the pictures. I am dealing with a nitrogen deficiency on my Triple Cheese.

I did two things, 1 short term fix, and 1 long term. First, I mixed up a gallon of "Mega Crop", and fed it all to the plant. Second, I added some dry chicken manure to the top of the soil. I still want to add more blood meal as soon as I get some more. That should solve that problem.

I know, I know, enough of the yapping and on with the show.

PLANT PORN FOLLOWS;)

.just hoping that I don't have to take some clothes out of the closet....
You might, after the rest of the house is full...;)
Beautiful plants,Mel:goodjob:

Last, but certainly not the least, my fast growing Lemon OG Candy by Philosopher seeds. Just hoping mine turns out as well as @Virgin ground 's did!
Howdy Mel!
You'll do great with her, she's such an easy going girl.
I took a clone of mine just after she started to flower. Can't wait to run her again but for now she's being turned into a little bonsai mom.
Do you grow outside exclusively? Sorry if I missed that info.

Until this year I have grown outside exclusively. I have a 600w Phlizone LED. But I have yet to get a tent, so odor control is my problem. I have 2 autoflowers that I moved outside just this week due to smell. A "Juicy Lucy", and a "haze express". Both, (ALL of them really) are courtesy of the @vault. #TeamVault #TeamVault4Life
