Promix HP pH

Hey everyone, I'm on my first indoor grow and have been having some minor issues. I've done alot of reading but am confused on one thing.

Promix HP is a soil less medium of peat, perlite and limestone. I've read that it is balanced and has a PH of 6.5. I've seen another thread of a member contacting them and telling them not to worry about the PH of water/nutrients and just to monitor ph of the medium and alkalinity. Most other references of soil less say PH range should be 5.1 to 6 or so. I've been using my tap water which comes out at 6.5ph and assumed that's perfect because of Promix being at 6.5.

Recently I'm questioning this though due to some pretty slow growth and lighter green new leaves alongside what may be magnesium deficiency. Now I've added a new qb mars hydro ts2000w light and a Calmag supplement which may just take care of this for me but I'd like to see some opinions on the PH.

Should I be lowering my PH to match traditional soil less guidelines?

Here's my plants at roughly 30says from seed.
I use GH series micro flora bloom and AN B52. Dosage Schedule also attached.

Should also note temps have been at around 24 to 26 but drop to 16 to 17 during 4hrs lights out. Exhaust fan has been off but all tent openings fully open and circulation fans running.

I'm debating switching to 24/0 on the light to prevent the temp drop during veg.
