Good nutrients should be fine.
Never had any issues with the GF.
And the big bud zero n so.
Soil maby.
Buds look perfect so that's the important part.

Yea was used soil so maybe excess from before? But yea everything else is good and buds forming nicely.... So I will not make mountains from mole hills.

DAY 96 DAY 51 OF FLOWER.



Pistils browning and wilting.... Aromas brewing....fall coloring gearing up.... And budz a trich buildin.

Lights 100%... Humidity and temps in range mid 70s F / mid 20s C with humidity 40-50% consistent.... Watered til runoff... Photos...and out!

DAY 99 DAY 54 OF FLOWER.

Well......it's a waiting game there isn't much to report on.... Swelling, eating, etc daily... But we are getting to the crinkle, so I'll be checking trichomes towards the end of next week to see where I stand. Other than that.....just a happy plant .

Day 108 ....CHOP.

So it's been a week or so since last update. I checked the trichomes yesterday and decided she's ready. Most trichomes milky with amber throughout, along with 95%+- pistils darkened and curled. I know she prolly could have went longer but to me she is where I consider prime time.... A small handful of clear, mostly milky, with speckled amber.

I noticed while wet trimming that I have seeds in a few smaller buds ..... I'm not tripping I can grow her again now if I'd like .....plus free seeds.

Anyhow I'll update again after dry is finished and final trim is done. For now here is the microscopic adventure on went on looking her over.

Alright she is all dry after 7 days... Yes the above post was typed out a couple days after I chopped. Here she is all laid out and trimmed.

Im very happy with the color and over all look of the buds. However there are way more seeds that previously mentioned .... But since I have a little free time and kiddo is occupied I got buzzzzzy. I went bud to bud with two pairs of pin points tweezers and a clamp on a stand, and removed as many of the seeds as I possibly could .......


So after about an hour and half I managed to pick through everything and I have almost 2 grams of seeds .

Idk maybe I'll be happy pot seed and just pepper the neighborhood ..... kidding kidding..... I know they are hermie seeds and would most likely screw everyone in the area with pollen.

Anyhow here is the weigh in.....drum roll.... And she yielded 61.5 grams or 2.16 ounces(OZ).... not to bad for first seed after a break and it being a mystery seeds to start .

I have to ask , maybe someone else already did ....why all the time , effort and money for 2 oz ? when you could easily grow a pound with your set ..then they seeded on you ..

Hey c.g, so Im not in this to grow massive plants or to make money... I'm in this for two reasons 1.) to grow quality (even if small quantity) bud for me and mine to enjoy. And 2.) I started growing as attention grab to stop drinking and other. Basically my own personal A.A . And so far I've remained clean for 4-5 years......so this is much more to me than just a nug producing machine.

Yes the start of the journal states "mystery"... and that's what it was I didn't know the plants were male, female, both when I planted them.... Two got tossed... This one has both and I decided to rock out with it. I knew it would be seeded....just not as bad . It's not a lose tho cuz I could have scraped it 6 weeks ago and lost out on all the time, light bill, soil, nutes, etc....but now I have 2 oz of smokeable bud.

I've been growing mystery seeds for years, sometimes I get a lot of seeds something only a few, your plants looked amazing all thru the grow. and the final harvest was great. I get it, we all have our different reasons for growing and it's all good as long you enjoyed it. to me it looked well worth the time and effort. best of luck on your next grow

Almost 30 days of curing now for a smoke report.

Alright just to recap how she was grown and with what:

Strain: mystery bag seed.... However my neighbor who grows medical marijuana for the local hospital he tried out my bud and did a smoke tests and believes it is a Durban poison hybrid....how valid is this ... But he's very knowledgeable.

Medium: soil ocean Forest by Fox Farms.

Nutrients - @GeoFlora Nutrients bloom and veg

Lights- 100w p1000 led by @ViparSpectra .

Cooling- 10" oscillating fan from @VIVOSUN

Training- topped once and then medium stress trained .

Life - vegged for about 2 months and then flipped and remained on a 12/12 for the duration of flower.

Issues during grow- male parts spotted early flower and promptly removed with a daily check for about a month (no leaks or other stresses I believe this plant was a hermie to start)... Along with fungus gnats the whole grow.

Smoke report and flavors/effects.

To start the look of the buds over all are nice and mid dense, with some good structure. Breaks up nicely but does clog grinder a bit due to oils from buds.... which also breaking it up by hand leaves a pleasant sticky residue on the fingers.... this may a good one to press if I had a press

For the flavor...I would say it is very mild, she Has hints of skunk and spice with a sweet fruit flavor. Virtually no burn when smoking from bowl/bong/blunt.... Which is something I've noticed about all home grown... I don't have the harshness of bought greenery.

The high is something that makes me think of green I've smoked when I was younger.....creeper...... After finishing a bowl first thing in the a.m, I start to get a slight body tingle with a little light trailing...as the high takes time to fully kick in (roughly 30 minutes) I start to get a slight head pressure with the euphoric feeling throughout the body coupled with the "squinty eye" feel. As it progresses through the final stages of the high I'm left with a clear mind and over all feeling of comfort and relaxation.... Aka couch lock for game play .

My take away with this strain is pleasant all around with no real complaints.... Yes there is seeds but now I can grow her out a few more times if I really want to ..or maybe cross her with something else since I know she will produce seeds on her own accord. Other than that I have 2 oz of semi quality smoke that I grew and that's more than ok for a plant I didn't expect to do anything since it was a bag seed .

But this wraps up this journal and I appreciate everyone who followed along and stuck with me throughout the grow....helps knowing people are watching and I'm not just here typing to myself .

It's when you're in the supermarket and talking to the products on the shelf about how you'll buy generic brand cookies rather than pay a buck more than Oreos... that's when ya seem a bit weird. but if ur stoned who gives a crap if ur weird. Good luck on your next grow, if ur not growing ur just standing still.

And yea I didn't know what to expect with her...but im happy she came out the way she came out .

And I have a lot.....I mean A LOT of her seeds to try again.... My question is will they be more prone to hermie than the original since it self pollinated?
